Due to the increasing competition in the market in general it is our opinion that the quality of the actual survey gradually gets poorer.
In some cases, the only action taken is renewal of the inspection sticker. Whether or not the unit is actually working, is secondary to many local contractors.
We want to change this by educating the very people whose lives may depend on whether the equipment functions properly.
In our opinion, the people in question will have the motivation and after going through this training also the knowledge and skills to secure a technical solution far better than today. What do you get?
The trainee will be introduced to DNV rules during a class room session. In addition, he will be introduced to all major types of extinguishers and instructed how to carry out and document the survey. The trainee will be examined in the above during a written and a hands-on test. The expected duration of the training is one day.
The result is a fully trained employee who knows what to do for the benefit of himself, his crew mates and his company. Documentation
Notice regarding renewal of the certificates will be given to the ship owner in due time by Danfoss Semco A/S Fire Protection.
The validity of the certificate is three years.
Included in the training fee is 100 pieces of stickers to be used by authorised persons.
The training manual is included.
